The rewrite doesn’t paint all Islam as a stereotypical villain. Dekker has a better grasp of Islamic culture and religion.

Jul 1, 2011 · The original book, Blink, by Ted Dekker is excellent! 5+ stars! The edited-for-movie version, Blink of an Eye, which this audio cd is from, removes the heart of the book, in my opinion. Gone is the clear contrast between Islam and Christianity. Hard truths of Islam's history are removed. The striking prayer test in the desert is watered down.
