Hull, music clubs paid between $1.50 and $5.50 for a CD, which they then sold for $16. He reports that if the clubs sold one out of every three discs, they'd make close to $8 in profit.

You can request a negative option so they don't automatically send you cds once your past the intial offer stage. I'm a long time member so I get these deals regularly.
