Bon Mot can be used repeatedly, incentivizes creative insults and, most importantly, rewards you appropriately. Demoralize doesn't distract the target and the enemy doesn't need to come up with a comeback. Sure you can insult enemies without the feat, but it doesn't feel as good without mechanical reward.
