They went to find the book of blood, the dude killed himself, the other dude went into the house found the book of blood, leaves and gets chainsawed in half by the old dude in the first story. Very uneven and disappointing film, felt like I wasted an hour an a half of my life watching this.

For those who've actually read The Books of Blood, don't bother with this movie. There's one narrative that barely covers one of the stories from the 6 volumes of content. The other two stories we get are supposedly new Clive Barker originals, but that's not really saying much since The Scarlet Gospels was trash.
