One of my favorite genres in films is the prison film. Although “Boot Camp” is not a pure prison film, I was hooked by the story of unruly teenager put into a camp for “re-education”. The movie is more like a mixture of a prison film, The Island of Doctor Moreau, coming of age and Lord of the Flies.
