Robert Brian Strickland (born October 26, 1983) is an American politician who has served in the Georgia State Senate from the 17th district since 2018. He previously served in the Georgia House of Representatives from the 111th district from 2013 to 2017.
Brian Strickland is running for State Senator in District 17 as a Republican. He not only practices law in McDonough with the law firm of Smith, Welch, Webb & White but is a direct descendent of one of the original founders of Henry County.

Rep. Strickland began serving as a leader for the conservative cause at a young age, being elected Chairman of the Valdosta State University College Republicans and later President of the Florida Coastal School of Law Republicans. In law school, he went on to be elected President of the student body at one of the nation's largest law schools.
