Jan 15, 2014 · My UK keyboard is the same as yours in that: Option +3 is #. Option +2 is €. on mine, shift 3 is £. shift 4 is $. (for completeness, Option +4 is ¢) I am sorry to have troubled you. I have MacBook Pro with european keyboard and I must press Shift + paragraph/plus-minus to receive pound sign. Euro - Option + 3.
