I've listened to Hank Williams, George Strait, Garth Brooks, George Jones, along with literally any new artist because it's all my family listens to and I still hate it. I've heard Kenny Chesney, Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton and the likes as well and their music still sucks ass to me.
My biggest issue with it was the oversaturation of it. If it had only been a bro song every once in a while, then I would've gone "well, that was a dumb song" and moved on. But when bro was at it's peak, it was 90% of the songs being played on radio.

Even artists who are considered "bro-country" have some genuinely good songs that aren't driven as much by the industry. Too bad much country music is made just for profit, resulting in this weird (but sometimes catchy) mix between country, r&b, and pop. Basically it's often just pop music with a southern accent and maybe a string guitar in there.
