Brown's Town (originally known as Hamilton Town) is one of the most important towns in St Ann Parish. The town is named after Hamilton Brown. Hamilton Brown (born 1776 and dead 1843) was an Irishman who started out as an estate book-keeper and rose to become a large landowner.
