Jun 19, 2020 · Bruce Gordon joined WED Enterprises in 1980 and for 25 years contributed to the design and construction of numerous Disneyland and Walt Disney World attractions. He was largely responsible for the development of "Splash Mountain" and the conversion of Disneyland's "Submarine Voyage" lagoon into today's "Finding Nemo" attraction.

Disney Imagineer and author Bruce Gordon died 6 November 2007. Born in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, on 18 April 1951, he grew up in California. He first visited Disneyland shortly after it opened in 1955, and was a fan and Disney collector ever since.

Jan 1, 1995 · Bruce Gordon, the primary writer of The Nickel Tour, was an Imagineer and started with the Company in 1980. Mr. Gordon co-authored many books about Disney and there are several that will be published posthumously later this year. Mr. Gordon passed away in November 2007. As it stands, the second edition of The Nickel Tour will probably be the last.
