Arch’s wiki is analogous to the FreeBSD handbook. Everything you need to know about the system is there, it’s easy to read, and it’s well maintained. So, why BSD? Because Linux is a kernel (and a good one!) but any BSD is a full-on Unix operating system. No choices between runit, openrc, or systemd. No choices around musl or glibc.
