Batwoman is a television series based on the DC Comics character with the same name starring Ruby Rose in Season 1 and Javicia Leslie since Season 2. It is developed by Greg Berlanti, and produced by Caroline Dries. A pilot was ordered on January 3, 2019 at The CW. On May 7, 2019, it was picked up to series on the network.
