Jan 9, 2014 · I just soak the roller on my Centerline track cleaing car and orbit 3 times and presto, no further electrical problems. I probably clean my track every 3-4 months, depending on how often I run. Works well on Flyer, AM and SHS track as well.
Costly, but very effective. When I run into track that really needs a thorough cleaning (a VERY rare event), I first clean the railheads with a track cleaning eraser; then apply LGB cleaning fluid with a clean scrap of cloth; and finally wipe/dry things down with another scrap of clean cotton cloth (old t-shirt).
Nov 22, 2013 · What I find works really well is to take an old gondola car and get a baby cleaning sponge from the store or hospital. http://www.amazon.com/gp/produ...4/ref=cm_cd_asin_lnk. Rip the sponge off from the little plastic brush and you will find that it fits perfectly into the underside of the gondola. It is also the perfect width for O gauge track.
