Jul 9, 2020 · Pack a Portable Radio – Drive-ins use FM radio frequencies for movie sounds. You could leave your car on to tune into the FM radio, but it could lead to a dead battery (pack jumper cables!). You can also listen on a radio app on your phone, but that could also mean a dead phone battery and low sound quality.
Paramount plays their movies' audio through FM radio stations, and if you want to avoid keeping your car on and letting the battery run low, a portable radio is a fantastic option. GET to the drive-in around an hour early (although this somewhat depends on the movie/time).
