Hey everyone, I realize this is an oldie and possibly outdated but want to get my feet wet and try mountain biking. Got a good deal on it. (realized later the dent in the downtube)
ANY gravelbike is better than a topstone. Cannondale cheaped out in the parts you don't see: wheels, freehub, bottom bracket, paint. The topstone is also a very hard ride. Cannondale's customer service is very, very bad too. Orbea Terra is a great bike, owners really seem to love them. At 2500 you might just be able to find a 2023 carbon Terra.
