One of our favorite Nashville hot spots for discovering new live music is the Listening Room Cafe. The round-table songwriters’ night is a great opportunity to see up-and-coming artists that fall outside of the typical honky-tonk spectrum. You can also enjoy a delicious brunch on the huge outdoor terrace overlooking downtown while you catch some tunes.
Mercy Lounge
One of the best independently and locally owned Nashville hot spots is the Mercy Lounge. This cozy little club on Cannery Row draws the local crowd as well as national fame for featuring some of the best, burgeoning buzz bands. Discover impressive talent in this low-key metropolitan venue a half mile from downtown. With a standing-room capacity of 500 and a state-of-the-art sound system, this venue draws quite a crowd almost every night!
Station Inn
