Feb 24, 2023 · I started to notice in 2006ish the E and CLS classes would have the "Mercedes" in cursive on the windshield. From then on it seemed like only those models had the cursive "Mercedes". Now I've noticed some cars even have the "Carl Benz" signature, what's up with that?
Does anyone know why the cars now use so many different signatures? Carl Benz, G Damiler, "Mercedes" in the corny cursive font, why not just stick to G Damiler?

Jan 14, 2008 · On the lower right side windshield you see what appears to be "G Daimler" in flashy pen and ink font. Can anybody shed some light on this detail? A quick search of the history of Daimler-Benz goes back to the mid 19th century. So this can hardly be a 'real' signature. Is it on all MBs?
