Carl Gustaf Thomson 1824-1899. Thomson was a Swedish naturalist, professor in Lund, and a prominent coleopterist who described a few scarab taxa. Perhaps more importantly,he was a Hymenoptera systematist. He collected all over Sweden during 1840-60s. His main collection is in Lund, but it is partially scattered elsewhere.
