Barbados is gorgeous. Carlisle Bay is fantastic and it is not to far from the port. There are several beaches within Carlisle Bay, The Boatyard and Copacabana are just two of them. The sand is white and soft. The water is very clear and calm. You can rent loungers and an umbrella for $20.00 , for the day.
