Casimir IV, known as Casimir Jagiellonian Polish Kazimierz Jagiellończyk, (born Nov. 30, 1427—died June 7, 1492), Grand duke of Lithuania (1440–92) and king of Poland (1447–92). He became ruler of Lithuania by will of the boyars and king of Poland on his brother’s death.
