The FDA has authorized use of a COVID-19 vaccine; however, initial quantities are very limited in Michigan and across the nation. For that reason, Van Buren/Cass District Health Department is implementing MDHHS and CDC’s recommendations for prioritizing who will get the vaccines and in what order.
Residents who don't have access to the internet or who need assistance navigating the vaccine scheduling process can call the COVID-19 Hotline at 888-535-6136 (press 1) Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
if you have received any other recent vaccines, YOU MUST WAIT 14 DAYS before receiving the COVID-19 vaccine. IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THE VACCINE: MODERNA COVID-19 Vaccine is a 2 DOSE SERIES. The interval between doses is 28 - 42 days.
