There are places that know how to unite the charm of their architecture with an important history, made up of large and small events, and Agliè is one of these. Told in the works of Filippo d'Agliè and Guido Gozzano, the village has a clearly recognisable symbol: the Castello Ducale.
Agliè is home to one of Piedmont's Royal Residences, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1997: the Ducal Castle of Agliè, a history spanning seven centuries, which has seen the passage of dukes, princes and kings.
