Charles Addams was an American cartoonist, known for his sinister, macabre work. Between 1932 and 1988, he was a household name in the pages of The New Yorker. His most famous creation is 'The Addams Family' (1938), an eccentric family of ghouls, ogres, witches and other creepy monsters.
