The Huntley–Brinkley Report (sometimes known as The Texaco Huntley–Brinkley Report for one of its early sponsors) was an American evening news program that aired on NBC from October 29, 1956, to July 31, 1970. It was anchored by Chet Huntley in New York City, and David Brinkley in Washington, D.C.

Chester Robert "Chet" Huntley (December 10, 1911 – March 20, 1974) was an American television newscaster. He was best known for co-anchoring NBC's evening news program, The Huntley–Brinkley Report, for 14 years beginning in 1956. Huntley died of lung cancer on March 20, 1974, at his home in Big Sky at the age of 62.
