  1. Chris Carr (born May 6, 1967 in Stockton, California) is an American motorcycle dirt-track racer and seven-time winner of the A.M.A. Grand National Championship. He has also competed as a motorcycle road racer at the national level and was a motorcycle land speed world record holder.

  2. In 2006, he set a motorcycle land speed record of 350.8 MPH, the first rider to exceed 350 MPH, and regained the title in 2009 with a 367.3 MPH average. Carr was AMA Rookie of the Year in 1985 and AMA Pro Athlete of the Year in 2003. He was inducted into the AMA Hall of Fame in 2004.
