In the last 4 decades he has restored WWI and WWII aircraft for private collections and museums, restored B-25s and Beech 18s for the US Navy and the US Air Force Museum Project, replica WWII aircraft for film work, restored a Grumman F3F and Curtiss P40 Warhawk for his own collection, to name a few.
Historic aircraft and space artifacts, such as the 1903 Wright Flyer and the Apollo 11 Command Module Columbia, highlight the National Collection. Thousands of additional artifacts—including engines, rockets, uniforms, spacesuits, balloons, artwork, documents, manuscripts, and photographs—document the richness of the history of flight.
