Clarks Summit is a borough in Lackawanna County, northwest of Scranton in Northeastern Pennsylvania. The population was 5,108 at the 2020 census. The northern terminal point for Interstate 476 is in our town and it is 1.58 square miles. It is surrounded by South Abington Township to the west, south, and east and Clarks Green and Waverly to the north.
Freedom Bridge, is the bridge you cross when coming off the turnpike to get into Clarks Summit. It is 163 ft (50 m) tall, and can be seen from many places throughout Clarks Summit. Roba's Tree farm, have their annual pumpkin patch, and hayrides in the fall months. There is a fall craft show in October that offers free admission and free parking.
