Originally known as Pilot Field, the venue has since been named Downtown Ballpark, North AmeriCare Park, Dunn Tire Park, and Coca-Cola Field. The home of the Triple-A Buffalo Bisons of the International League (IL), it opened on April 14, 1988 and can seat up to 16,600 people, making it the highest-capacity Triple-A ballpark in the United States.

Though located in Buffalo's downtown core, Coca-Cola Field is surprisingly easy to reach by car. It's no more than a minute off I-190, and you can see it from the highway. If you're traveling to Coca-Cola Field from the north, take I-190 southbound and get off at Exit 6 (Elm Street).

After toting around the name of Dunn Tire Park for some time, this off season, those with the team accepted a deal from soda giant Coca-Cola to rename the ballpark Coca-Cola Field. The Bisons have also switched which team they are representing in 2009.
With the current agreement for Coca-Cola Field set to expire, the Buffalo Bisons (Class AAA; International League) are searching for a new ballpark naming-rights partner.
