   Is Colditz Castle worth a visit?

   • If you're a history buff Colditz castle is well worth the trip. Easy parking right near the main gate. We did the extended tour with Steffi and she was a great tour guide. Very knowledgeable with a lot of great info to give about many of the places where escapes happened.

As an added bonus the surrounding area is beautiful, Colditz Town is especially pretty with some good places to eat & relax around the town square. Public transport via train then bus from Leipzig was straightforward. Back to the tour..
