May 17, 2022 · The Colt Anaconda was reintroduced in 2021. It’s new, but has it been improved? New “Snake Guns” have been rolling out of Colt Manufacturing since the Cobra came out in 2017. Since then, the Cobra line has been expanded to include several versions in .38 Special +P and .357 Magnum.

The new model is currently only available in the powerful .44 Magnum, which also allows for the use of the less powerful .44 Special ammunition .
Jul 14, 2021 · Rusty’s Impressions. Colt was generous enough to send us some 6″ barreled examples of the new Anaconda. Right out of the box, I could see fit and finish were excellent. The action was smooth where it needed to be, and crisp and precise where it needed to be as well.
