Alexander the Great is another powerful legendary infantry commander in Rise of Kingdoms. We’ve already had powerful infantry commanders like Richard I and Charles Martel before. But with the recent update, we are now able to come up with a new full infantry march led by another legendary commander, Alexander the Great. Being a legendary commander,...

As I’ve said, Alexander the Great is a newly introduced commander in the game. Thus, he is only available in older kingdoms, which have been open for more than a year now. 1. Richard I

As a primary defensive commander, Alexander the Great is best paired with Richard I. Richard’s healing and damage reduction ability further improves their damage sustainability. Plus, their infantry-only troop march even gets buffed up due to Richard I’s The Lionheart skill. Charles Martel is also a powerful defensive commander. However, their shielding abilities somehow won’t work together. Thus, he is not an ideal pair to Alexander the Great, even if he is a great defensive commander.

    2. Yi-Seong Gye

If you’re planning to build an anti-tank or offensive march, Alexander the Great would also work well with Yi-Seong Gye. Alexander’s ability to increase his troop’s attack and increase the target’s damage taken will increase Yi-Seong Gye’s ability to nuke heavy damage to the target. Besides, any enemy tank will surely suffer from this pair’s march because of Alexander’s Healing Effect Reduction and Yi-Seong Gye’s heavy nuking ability. If you’d like to check out our Yi-Seong Gye Talent Tree Bu...
