    • WHAT THIS MAP MEANS. In early November, the Department of Public Health changed how communities would be categorized. While original method considered only the average daily positive test rate per 100,000 in population, the new method also takes into account the total population of the community and the positive test rate.
    • Under 10,000 population: Grey: Less than or equal to 10 total cases. Green: Less than or equal to 15 total cases. Yellow: Less than or equal to 25 total cases.
    • Population 10,000-50,000: Grey: Less than or equal to 10 total cases. Green: Fewer than 10 average daily cases per 100,000 in population and more than 10 total cases.
    • Population over 50,000: Grey: Less than or equal to 15 total cases. Green: Fewer than 10 average daily cases per 100,000 in population AND more than 15 total cases.
