Corpus Christi College (full name: "The College of Corpus Christi and the Blessed Virgin Mary", often shortened to "Corpus") is a constituent college of the University of Cambridge. From the late 14th century to the early 19th century it was also commonly known as St Benet's College.

Corpus Christi College, Cambridge, was founded in 1352 by the religious Guilds of Corpus Christi and the Blessed Virgin Mary, making it the only college in Oxford or Cambridge to be established by the town's citizens.
Jun 6, 2002 · The college celebrated its 600th anniversary with a dinner on the feast day of Corpus Christi in 1952. After the traditional toasts to Church and Queen and the ancient house, a drinking horn used for the purpose ever since the college was founded was passed round as a loving cup.
