Counties are ranked by the highest infection rate per 100,000 residents within the week leading up to Sep. 22, 2022.
There are a total of 162 counties in the state of Georgia. Among them, Burke County is the oldest one (established in 1777) while Peach County is the youngest (established in 1924). With population of 1,041,423, Fulton County is the most populated.
