Negation War reveals some of the key mysteries of the CrossGen metaplot, continuing from the revelations of the later issues of Negation. Charon and his opposite counterpart Appolyon, are revealed to have been the human scientists who organized the Great Transition as seen in Crux.

Negation War is a comic book series published by CrossGen Comics, and serving as a culmination of the metaplots of nearly all of CrossGen's other titles. It was cancelled after only two issues, in spring 2004, before the company declared bankruptcy and ended production on all their titles.

Apr 28, 2020 · The big CrossGen crossover was supposed to bring together the shared universe, pay off all those concepts, and then the titles would go in their separate directions. It was called "The War," with me writing and George Perez drawing.
Oct 5, 2016 · The “sigil bearers” were supposed to join forces against a cosmic threat called the Negation in the mini-series, NEGATION WAR that would cap off four years of stories. Unfortunately, CrossGen went out of business after the second issue shipped?
The series details the adventures which Kaine and the rest had in Negation space. The series ended with issue #27. CrossGen tried to wrap up all the dangling storylines in the Negation: War mini-series. CrossGen had to declare bankruptcy before the series could be finished.
