  8. Cuthbert Amphitheater was built in 1982 with funds raised by the Eugene-Springfield Area Rotary Clubs. The facility is named after Fred Cuthbert, a longtime landscape architecture professor at the University of Oregon, who was highly involved in the civic life of Eugene. The first concert held at Cuthbert Amphitheater was in 1983.
