Sep 26, 2023 · Sep 26, 2023. #5. Wow, that's waaaay too harsh, the movie is a solid 7/10 in my book, it has aged really well and is certainly more entertaining than much of the marvel fodder routinely getting 7s and 8s here.
This movie could have been charming, but Geena Davis just does not make the role of Morgan Adams believable. All of her physical stunts look fake and ridiculous. Roles are reversed in this movie. It is the woman who is the strong one, and the one who saves the day. This could have been a good family film, if there wasn’t so much bloody violence.

Dec 22, 1995 · Morgan Adams and her slave, William Shaw, are on a quest to recover the three portions of a treasure map. Unfortunately, the final portion is held by her murderous uncle, Dawg. Her crew is skeptical of her leadership abilities, so she must complete her quest before they mutiny against her.
