The NEB Board will also indicate grades in the marks sheets in addition to numerical scores in subjects of external examinations. Grades will be shown only in internal assessment subjects. Five types of grading are available to show the result, i.e. A, B, C, D & E. You have to score a minimum of D+ marks to qualify for the exam.
(d) 10+2/ Higher Secondary Level Formal school education in Nepal officially spans a period of 12 years, at the successful completion of which a student graduates with a certificate of Higher Secondary Education (10+2).
In Nepal, Kathmandu University (KU), a few Departments of Tribhuvan University (TU), and Purbanchal University follow the absolute grading system. Accordingly, a score of 80% and above is considered an A, 70% and above is B, 50% and above is C and 40% and above is D.
Students who had appeared as regular examinees in the examination 2079 and were absent or secured ‘C’, ‘D+’, ‘D’, or ‘E’ grades in SEE res ults are eligible to participate in the grade improvement exam. And in the case of class 12 students, the grade improvement exam is available only if they have one or two NG.
