Dahlia Hill is unlike any other garden. 3,000 dahlias are planted yearly on the eight-level terraced hillside. Showcasing over 250 labeled varieties along the gravel paths, there are examples of all 19 dahlia petal types. The dahlias are in bloom from August through October.

Dahlia Hill (DH) is both a protected garden area in the Lower Peninsula of Michigan, encompassing 1.41 acres (0.57 ha) of terraced gardens, and the a 501 (c) (3) non-profit educational organization that runs the garden. Located in the city of Midland, Michigan, they annually grow more than 3,000 dahlia plants.
Dahlia Hill would not exist without the members that make our community a vibrant place to share gardening interests, meet new friends, and celebrate summer.
