Damien Thorn is the central figure of The Omen franchise, which includes movies, books, and television. He is the adopted son of American diplomat Robert Thorn and his wife Kathy. When Robert's own newborn child dies during childbirth, he is persuaded to adopt Damien but keep the truth from his wife to spare her the trauma.
Damien confronts Dean about Barbara talking with De Carlo, and demands that he kill his son. Dean refuses and flees. Meanwhile, Damien's dog threatens the child, but Barbara drives it away.
