And drawing on his fascination with the occult and specifically taking inspiration from the (mostly debunked) myth of the Thirteen Magical Crystal Skulls, he created the Crystal Head Vodka brand with his friend, artist John Alexander.
Here's a recipe from their own repertoire, the Northern Peach. 45ml Crystal Head Vodka. 75ml peach juice. 10ml basil simple syrup. To make the basil syrup, put equal parts sugar and water into a pot with 4 or 5 basil leaves. Bring to the boil, reduce, and simmer for about five minutes. Cool it off before using.
