Dan Jenkins was a married man. He and his wife Victora had three children. They lived in Montana but when things got out of hand at work, Jenkins sent his family away for their protection.

Jenkins was killed by hitmen that the Beck brothers hired to finally push Dan out of his land deal permanently. The first hitman killed Dan's bodyguard Torryand entered the house.
