Ford retired in 2003, after 33 years at The Goldman Sachs Group, where he was a Managing Director and co-head of Global Asset Management. Prior to that position he was a General Partner and head of Fixed Income Sales at Goldman, Sachs & Co. Mr. Ford devoted substantial time to charitable and non-profit organizations.
