Getting Started. You start out with your basic tools along with an Empty Necklace. The Necklace can be combined with 5 of any gem to make one of the Necklaces . The most basic crafting station you will need is the Z-Table.

When all 7 Dragon Balls have been found, they must be placed inside a player's inventory, but not their hotbar. Pressing ⚷ Open / Activateon any of the Dragon Balls in the player's inventory will summon Shenron, indicated by the background turning black. A menu will then prompt the player to make one of 5 wishes.
Due to how Dragon Balls are spawned, it is possible to acquire duplicates. Since summoning Shenron requires 7 unique Dragon Balls (i.e. one of each), duplicates are functionally useless.

1. Dragon Balls can only be used once per year. 1.1. If the player wished to replicate this behavior in Terraria for whatever reason, they would have to wait approximately 146 real-life hours between wishes (when defining "a year" as exactly 365 days). If the player wished to sleep in a bed through the "cooldown", it would instead take 29 hours and 12 minutes. The time can be further lowered to 25 hours and 2 minutes if either the Enchanted Sundial or Enchanted Moondial are used every 7 days,...
