Do that first and then see if these questions still make sense, thus going beyond a sophomoric understanding of these things. 5 days ago · This opens the original clip in the Source Viewer with the play head positioned on the same frame. The timecode for the frame is in the upper right corner of the Viewer. The in and out points are also displayed. Press Shift+I and Shift+O (letters, not 1 and 0) to go right to the in or out and see their timecode. Director, Editor, Problem Solver.
Jul 12, 2019 · Clip will be inserted only at the beginnig of the timeline. I see that happen when the playhead is at the very end of the timeline on the edit page. When I drag the clip from the preview window to the timeline window and right click and select “insert” the clip is inserted at the start of the timeline. I am using Resolve 15 on a Windows pc.

No matter what I do, the clip is always inserted near the END of the timeline! The playhead is at the very beginning of the timeline - what am I doing wrong?

5 days ago · The problem that I am repeatedly having in Davinci Resolve is that after I have opened any project, if I want to copy and paste a text clip at the point wherever the playhead is, it always goes and pastes the text clip at the beginning of the Timeline and not at the playhead. It only ever does this once, after I have opened a project.
