Background: DEJ Productions was founded in 1998 as a film distribution company by Blockbuster. It soon expanded into global distribution. Its name was derived from the first name initials of Blockbuster's three top executives at the time. In 2005, it was announced that First Look Studios purchased the company.

Logo: The yellow relief of ancient Babylonian statue fades in. The statue depicts a Shedu, a winged bull or lion with the head of a man, and there is a name below: DEJ PRODUCTIONS. The logo then fades out.
Variant: In 2002, the logo was re-rendered in 3D. This version shines.
