It started off making him stronger and faster, improving his reaction time, etc, but by the end of the episode it reprogrammed his brain so that he was essentially in a coma, locked into a permanent false reality that the nanites created where he was winning competitions. An Aeon Flux/Phantom crossover would be wild.
