Florida State. Induction. 1994. A four-year starter at linebacker under College Football Hall of Fame coach Bobby Bowden at Florida State, Derrick Brooks helped the Seminoles to a 44-5-1 record, three ACC titles, four bowl victories and the school’s first-ever national championship in 1993.
He becomes the sixth Seminole player to enter the College Football Hall of Fame. The 1994 ACC Player of the Year, Brooks guided Florida State to victories in four consecutive bowl games, including the 18-16 win over Nebraska in the Orange Bowl for the national title.
