The Dyatlov Pass Incident (a.k.a. Devil's Pass), a film directed by Renny Harlin, was released on 28 February 2013 in Russia and 23 August 2013 in the U.S. It follows five American students retracing the steps of the victims, but, being a work of fiction, makes several changes in describing the initial events, e.g., inverting names of victims.

The book was well written and kept you involved in the story and all of the known victims. I also enjoyed the update of the families at the end telling you where they are now. I hope to be able to see the movie when it comes out. I have read several books by J T Hunter and enjoyed every one. I will be reading the rest since I enjoyed these so much.
