The Abattoir of Zir is similar to Greater Rifts from Diablo 3, but with some twists. To enter the dungeon, you need a special item called a Bloodforged Sigil, which you can craft at the Occultist once you meet the necessary requirements (we will explain them later). The dungeon has 25 tiers of difficulty, each with a 10-minute timer.

Diablo 4 Abattoir of Zir Pinnacle Dungeon

Already at the end of your Season 6 journey? Well, we've got great news for you! A new pinnacle dungeon has been released for Diablo 4, Abattoir of Zir, offering now only a new challenge for endgame Seasonal Content, but the chance to get your hands on a new Unique Glyph.
Abbatoir of Zir was released on Tuesday, December 5th, 2023, with the arrival of Patch 1.2.3.
The dungeon will remain available for the majority of the rest of the season.
Abattoir of Zir is an endgame pinnacle dungeon that offers a new, terrifying challenge. You must defeat the servants of Zir within ten minutes in order to successfully beat this dungeon. Each time you complete the time trial, you'll gain access to the next level of difficulty - starting at level 1, all the way up to level 25.
The first level of Abbatoir of Zir is similar in difficulty to a level 90 Nightmare Dungeon. With a total of 25 levels to the Abbatoir of Zir, unlockable with each successful completion of the time trial, the Abattoir of Zir is the ultimate endgame pinnacle challenge for seasoned Diablo 4 players.
Abbatoir of Zir Requirements
To be eligible to take on this challenge, you must first complete all Chapters of the Season of Blood Season Journey. This is a significant investment, but if your character isn't strong enough to complete the toughest content in the season, you're most likely not ready for AoZ.
To Enter Abbatoir of Zir:
Once the Season Journey is completed, the Bloodforged Sigil crafting recipe will be unlocked. You can craft the Bloodforged Sigil at the Occultist, then use it to spawn the "Visceral Channel" in Ked Bardu. Enter the portal to access the Abattoir of Zir pinnacle dungeon.
The main challenge in clearing a run is balancing survivability and damage.
•Survivability is vital, as if anyone in your party dies you fail the run, and enemies output extremely high damage.
•Damage is also crucial, as if you focus too much on tankiness, you may find yourself unable to defeat all the enemies in the allocated time limit.
Damage
•The enemies you'll face are beefy - they get about 20% more HP per level, so they scale exponentially. They also scale up if you're playing with team members.
•Levelling up your Tears of Blood glyph will be vital to increasing your damage enough to take on higher levels of the Abbatoir of Zir.
When you enter the Abbatoir of Zir, you'll see a timer counting down on the right-hand side of your screen. You have 10 minutes to defeat all the enemies in the dungeon, and once you've cleared them all, 3 Blood Seekers will be summoned. Defeat them all to clear the dungeon.
Note: Loot won't drop from the enemies you defeat - there's no time to stop and pick it up!
Once you've completed the dungeon for the first time, you receive the special glyph: Tears of Blood.
You also receive glyph XP each time you finish a run, which you can spend levelling up any glyph.
The glyph XP reward will depend on the tier of dungeon you complete:
•Tier 1: 1000 XP
•Tier 5: 2800 XP
•Tier 10: 11600 XP
Completing a Level 1 run will unlock the recipe for a Level 2 Bloodforged Sigil, and so on up to Level 25.
Return to the occultist to craft the next Bloodforged Sigil and access the next level of Abbatoir of Zir.
Completing the first tier of the Abattoir of Zir dungeon unlocks the Unique Glyph: Tears of Blood.
Here are the stats assigned to the Tears of Blood Unique Glyph at level 1:

Bonus:
•For every 5 Core Stats purchased within range, you gain 2.0% increased damage.
